Summary

Serbia's raspberry farmers, among the world's top producers, face financial and sustainability risks due to climate change.

Continuing our series of festivals and webstivals, the Climateurope2 Festival 2025 will take place from September 29 to October 1 in Belgrade, Serbia!

Under the title “Empowering society through climate services” and hosted by the Center for the Promotion of Science, this edition offers a unique opportunity to foster collaboration and strengthen the climate services community in Eastern Europe. It will bring together experts, policymakers, and innovators to explore the design, use, quality, and standardization of climate services.

The programme features discussions on key topics such as agriculture, health, and the Mission Adaptation in the region. Throughout the Festival, there will be a strong artistic presence, including exhibitions and the winning project from our second Art+Science Call.

We welcome a wide range of contributions to help make the Festival an open, engaging, and collaborative space.

  • Plenary Session: Give a keynote or join a panel discussion during the plenary sessions. These moments bring all participants together and are aligned with the Festival’s main themes.
  • Interactive Session: These 90-minute sessions are designed to actively involve the audience and can take the form of training workshops, games, or other creative exercises. They’re a great way to share knowledge while gathering insights, opinions, or data from participants using interactive methods.
  • World Café Session: In this 90-minute format, participants move between themed tables in a large room, each offering a focused, interactive discussion. Each round lasts 30–40 minutes, allowing participants to explore different topics and perspectives. These sessions are ideal for testing new ideas, sharing ongoing work, or collecting feedback in an informal setting.
  • Marketplace: This open space is dedicated to showcasing projects and initiatives. Bring along your communication materials, merchandise, or demos to share with Festival participants. If you’d like to present your ongoing research in the form of a poster, the marketplace offers some space for this format. This is a place for networking, exchanging ideas, and discovering new collaborations.

You can register to attend the event online. Please note that only plenary sessions will be streamed. Registration for in-person participation is now closed.
