Climateurope2 launches a webinar series to gather stakeholder perspectives on the need for climate services’ standardisation. Each webinar will focus on a specific stakeholder group, aiming to learn about their experiences and requirements for the integration of climate-related information in their day-to-day activities.

The first webinar will take place on June 21, from 12:00 to 13:30 CEST. It will focus on the private sector, with invited experts from the energy and insurance industries, including Andrea Manrique from EDP Renewables and Alec Vessey from AXA XL. The Climateurope2 partner Asun Lera St.Clair, from DNV and BSC, will moderate the webinar.

With a focus on the European context, speakers will give brief presentations on how climate impacts their activities and the role that climate services play in climate change adaptation and mitigation. Following the talks, an open discussion on the needs (or not) for standardisations will follow, where questions from the audience will be welcome.
